Frequently Asked Questions: 

1. How do I care for my candle? 

    • Always trim your wick before lighting. It will burn longer, cleaner and more evenly. 
    • On the first burn, it is suggested to let it burn until there is a full melt pool across the candle. This will help with an even burn and the maximum fragrance for the life of the candle. 
    • Burn your candle for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. 
    • If your wicks starts smoking or flickering a lot, please extinguish the flame, trim the wick and relight. 
    • Keep your wax pool free of debris and wick trimmings. 
    • Do not use your candle lid to extinguish the flame as it will trap the smoke in the container. 
    • Do not move a candle until it has cooled, as it will be hot to the touch. 
    • Discard candles when there is 1/4 inch of wax remaining. 
    • Further Safety Instructions are located on the sticker of the bottom of your candle.
2. What wax do you use?
We typically use a soy wax blend that we get from a local supplier. Our Beeswax candles contain 100% pure beeswax that we get from a beekeeper that lives near us. For our candle molds, embeds and wax melts with use a mixture of waxes, depending on the design. These include coconut wax, coconut-soy and paraffin.
3. Can your containers by reused? 
All of our candle jars can be reused. The mason jar candles are hand-tinted but they were all sprayed with a sealant so that they can be re-used. For our Illuminate candles jars, we encourage customers to reuse these since they are so beautiful. They are perfect for tealights and small pillar candles.  
4. What is a Car Freshie? 

Care Freshies are handcrafted air fresheners that are made with aroma beads that have cured in our signature candle fragrances. The are perfect for your car or any space that you want to add fragrance. They will last 3-6 weeks. All our freshies are made to order, so you can customize your design, pick your fragrance and send special requests.

5. When will I get my shipment? 

Packages usually get shipped out the day after an order is received. A confirmation email will be sent with a tracking number once we drop it off. Typical shipping times are 1-3 days, subject to USPS schedules and guidelines.

6. Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Yes, however, any free shipping promotions would not qualify for customers not in the U.S.
